Rubber Tracks

Music, by its very nature is a creative, fun process full of interesting things happening. Not often though, do you see major companies doing things to give back to the music community. Converse, who credits a lot of it’s longevity to the music community, has started a free recording studio in Brooklyn called Rubber Tracks. All an artist has to do is book their recording time and show up. Rubber Tracks promotes artists without legally tying them down to anything. Any artist looking to have a high quality recording as well as cutting the recording costs, to nothing, would be well advised to check out rubber tracks. The advantages go both ways, Converse started Rubber Tracks to give back to the music community that supported them and gave them the brand they have today, as well as reintroducing them to a new musical generation by keeping things fresh.

  1. I really love the idea of Rubber Tracks. It's nice that the artists aren't legally bound to anything, especially because it's free. It really is giving back to the music community and Converse is definitely benefiting from it as well. I love seeing companies create new opportunities like this and I can't wait to see what else Converse has in store!
